- It is best to hand wash lingerie with similar colors in lukewarm water (20-30 °C) using a mild detergent. There are special hand wash detergents available that are gentle both on your lingerie and your skin.
- After washing, gently squeeze out the excess water or wrap the lingerie several times in a dry towel. Do not use a tumble dryer and do not dry your lingerie in direct sunlight or on a radiator. The best method is to lay your lingerie flat on a traditional drying rack with a towel underneath. You can also hang bras by the bridge between the cups on a clothesline or rod. Do not hang lingerie by the straps, as this can cause unnecessary stretching. Peignoirs should be dried immediately on a clothes hanger.
- When ironing lingerie, use a steamer or an iron on the lowest temperature setting and always iron on the reverse side to avoid shiny spots.
